Can you fix a window that has dropped?
Usually, yes. A dropped sash is normally caused by worn friction stays (the hinges on most uPVC windows). Replacing them brings the window back into line.
My window handle is loose or broken. Can you replace it?
Yes. Send a photo of the handle and the side of the window so we can match the part, and we'll give you a price.
Can you fit restrictors to upstairs windows?
Yes. Window restrictors limit how far a window opens, which is useful in children's bedrooms. We fit and replace them.
Do I need new windows if mine are draughty?
Not always. Worn seals, dropped sashes and loose hinges are common causes of draughts and can be fixed. We'll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
